Even if NBC hosted the Super Bowl, they wanted to get into the Big Game commercial sweepstakes too.

And they did it in a big way, with a hilarious, whiplash-inducing spot that featured a number of network stars sitting around a living room party debating which star makes NBC “America’s favorite network.”

Opening with Ted Danson appearing on a TV in a gloating NBC commercial spot, the rest of the famous party-goers chime in on why they deserve some network dap.

First Terry Crews and Kelly Clarkson voice their complaints. Clarkson frustratingly exclaims, "come on, NBC? I'm on, like, all your shows." And as Today points out, she’s kind of right. She’s got her own talk show, is a coach on "The Voice," and will also co-host the new music-based reality competition show, "American Song Contest,” which also had its own Super Bowl spot.

But the sudden appearance of Mariska Hargitay made the most surprising impression, as, while holding a drink, she states, "you're both great, but I've been on this network for 23 years. I mean, seriously."

Hargitay's "Law & Order: SVU" co-star appeared shortly after, with a stunned and stunted reaction at the end that wrapped the whole spot up in a hilarious bow.

He’s carrying a tray of snacks, looks up, and with a shocked face says, “What a bunch of…” – cut to Keenan Thompson from "Saturday Night Live" getting NBC’s accolades up on the flat-screen. "Keenan Thompson, the other number 1 reason why NBC is America's favorite network."

Zoom in to Thompson’s hilarious smirk.

So excited was the network about the star-studded spot, they released the ad on Twitter before the day of the game. And like clockwork, the tweets flew.

"A spin-off of Olivia and Elliot just being happy together. Get on it nbc," said one inventive fan. And another: “Add Stabler family, Noah, Rollins, Carisi and their kids. Perfect shot.”

On the day of the game, Hargitay and Meloni were actually there at the Super Bowl, and they both posted about the experience.

Meloni shared a shot of the two basking in the Big Game sun, and captioned it, "Ok. The super bowl can start #OC #SVU @therealmariskahargitay.”

Then Hargitay had her own Instagram touchdown with a great shot of the two joined by actor Elizabeth Banks, who they ran into at the game. Banks guest-starred in a season three episode of "Law & Order: SVU" back in 2001.

"You never know who you gonna run into at the Super Bowl...” Hargitay exclaimed in the caption.

And you never know who you'll see in a Super Bowl commercial.
