(RICHMOND, Va.) -- Five new cases in Henrico County, four of them are resident of Canterbury Rehab and Healthcare Center in the West End near Steward School. The four patients are isolating in their rooms at the facility.
Dr. Danny Avula with the Richmond and Henrico Health District says this is a totally different place than the Westminster Canterbury Retirement Home that reported its first caes earlier this week.
The four rehab facility cases include a female in her 50s who developed a fever. Three others had symptoms and tested positive. Two other tests are pending. Two others were symptomatic but tested negative.
The other new Henrico case is a man in his 40s with no known exposures. He is isolated at home.
There are also two new cases in Richmond. One is a man in his 30s who traveled to Kentucky recently and is self-isolating at home. The other case is a woman in her 20s who doesn't have travel history but had contact with those who have traveled to Spain
