Mask Order Upheld

Charlottesville, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A Charlottesville-are judge has declined to grant an injnction against Governor Ralph Northam's order requiring masks inside of businesses. Judge Claude Worrell finding the order is constitutional and follows Virginia law.  Worrell also says the plantiffs are unlikely to be successful at trial.

Two people, including a Charlottesville pawn-shop owner, asked for the injunction.  The order requires masks inside of businesses unless the person is eating, exercising, or having a breathing problem.

The Attorney General's office says this is the 12th time one of Northam's coronavirus executive orders has been upheld.
