Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- UPDATE: There was one arrest of a 21-year old Richmond woman for wearing a mask in public.
ORIGINAL: A crowd that law enforcement estimated to be 22,000 gathered at the State Capital today for a pro-gun rights rally. There were no arrests and no signs of violence.

Governor Ralph Northam (D) declared a State of Emegerncy last week, over credible threats of violence surrounding the rally. House Minority Leader Todd Gilbert (R-Shenandoah) spoke out against white supremacist "garbage" after receiving a briefing on the threats.
Guns were banned inside the Square itself but not outside, and many in the groups along Main Street, Bank Street, and otheres were heavily armed. Some were in tactical gear as well.

Conservative talk host Alex Jones also could be seen driving around the perimeter, screaming about the 1776. Many in the crowd could not actually hear the speakers, as the general noise was loud, and the speaker system could not overcome it.
