Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -  Richmond Police Chief Will Smith says 233 people were arrested on the third night of protests, the first in which there was an 8pm curfew.  Smith says over half were from outside the city, some of which were from out-of-state.  The charges included curfew, but also firearms, vandalism, and burglary.

Smith says they did not use force, although at least one reporter says he was knocked down and pepper sprayed.  Smith also says they are working with the FBI and other agencies, and are pursuing people out-of-state.

There was also a fire at the Rite-Aid at Broad and Belvidere today, which firefighters believe was likely triggered from embers from a previous protest blaze.  The intersection is also where a GRTC bus was burned on Friday.
