CNN trashed President Donald Trump for saying in a March 4 interview that the death rate of COVID-19 is likely lower than what was being reported.
While interviewing with Fox News' Sean Hannity earlier this month, President Trump said he believed the death rate of the Chinese coronavirus was "is way under one percent."
The "real" reporters of CNN bashed him for his claim, led by self-proclaimed media gatekeeper Brian Stelter, who wrote, "I hesitate to even print the United States president’s words here, because they’re so at odds with what health experts are saying," before calling the president's claims "spurious."
On Tuesday, however, CNN's Arman Azad published an article saying the very same thing. His story reported that "about 0.66% of those infected with the virus will die."
But this was "spurious" when President Trump said it?
