The Virginia General Assembly is moving to ban the practice of conversion therapy for LGBTQ children.
The state Senate voted on Monday to ban therapists and counselors from practicing conversion therapy, and the bill now goes to the desk of Gov. Ralph Northam, who is expected to sign it into law.
