Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Police had additional officers at Brookland Middle School Wednesday, one day after a stabbing seriously injured a student. Henrico Police also used the incident to call on parents to get more involved in their students' lives. There was also a large scale fight at Highland Springs High School Monday.
The seventh grader taken into custody after the stabbing now faces three charges. The student has been charged with malicious wounding, stabbing, and having a knife on school grounds. The stabbing took place in a locker room.
Brookland Middle went on lockdown following the incident.
