BermudAir launches nonstop flights between RIC and Bermuda

Operates twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - For the first time in more than a decade, nonstop flights to Bermuda are back at Richmond International Airport.

According to a release from RIC, BermudAir has launched nonstop service between RIC and Bermuda’s LF. Wade International Airport (BDA).

BermudAir’s service to BDA in Bermuda will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays on BermudAir’s Embraer aircraft.

RIC says the flights aim to provide a premium experience that showcases Bermuda’s warmth and hospitality.

BermudAir offers a “comfortable and efficient way to experience Bermuda’s legendary pink sand beaches, world-class golf courses, and vibrant culture,” according to RIC.

“Today marks an exciting new chapter for Richmond International Airport with the launch of nonstop international service to Bermuda,” said Perry J. Miller, Ph.D., A.A.E., I.A.P., president and CEO of the Capital Region Airport Commission. “We are proud to partner with BermudAir to offer a seamless, two-hour connection between Virginia’s Capital Region and one of the world’s most stunning island destinations.”
