Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Richmond-Henrico Health District says it has already given out its first "second" booster shots at clinics on Friday. The Federal Government just recently authorized second booster shots for those 50 and older, and those with compromised immune systems.

The Richmond-Henrico Health District is no longer operating a mass vaccination site, but rather, smaller clinics in areas with limited access to the shots. Spokeswoman Cat Long says they anticipate most people actually getting their booster at a pharmacy or at their doctor's office.
