Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Getting into Richmond has been an issue at various points of Thursday, both from the north and the south. During afternoon rush, traffic has been impacted by by brush fires on I-95 North near Woods Edge.
Meanwhile, Thursday morning, traffic coming south through Hanover was impacted by the unscheduled extension of pavement work on I-95 South. VDOT says they had a asphalt supply issue, and had to get it from another supplier. The delay lead some work having to be done during morning drive.
VDOT plans to have things cleared up for Friday's morning drive. There will be no work over the weekend.
