Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - After Richmond Public Schools, and two Henrico Schools (Hermitage and Highland Springs), announced they were increasing security measures at high school football games, Chesterfield Schools says it is basically sticking with its security plan. Richmond made its changes after a game was postponed due to a social media threat, and the Henrico changes follow an increase in fights and disruptions.

Chesterfield says its rules require that all high school students that are dropped off at games have rides as soon as the game ends. People can buy tickets at the stadium (unlike Richmond and the Henrico schools), but there is no re-entry. Police officers work every game, and fans are wanded before entering.

The school district also says parking lots are checked for loitering.
