ORIGINIAL: Chesterfield Police say they continue to investigate the shooting death of a 16-year old from earlier this week. Police have identified the victim as Tyce Lewis of Midlothian.
Chesterfield Police found out about the shooting after being called to Chippenham Hospital by Richmond Police (the hospital sits on the county/city line). Chesterfield officers believe Lewis was shot in a subdivision off of Courthouse Road.
The shooting happened sometime early Tuesday evening.
