Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Commonwealth Attorney Colette McEachin is urging city residents not to use the big blue outdoor mail collection boxes. McEachin says they are being vandalized and broken into.
"They are being vandalized and your mail is not safe if you deposit it," McEachin said in a press release.
"Especially given the holiday season and the importance of people's gifts and mail being delivered properly, I'd just advise everyone not to use the big blue boxes," she says.
McEachin says residents with complaints should contact the appropriate postal service division.
