Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Children’s Museum of Richmond (CMOR) and the Autism Society of Central Virginia are teaming up to host the first sensory-friendly event of 2024.
The event will take place at the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s downtown location on Jan. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Sensory-friendly nights are intended to provide a calm and welcoming environment with support for children with disabilities and their families. CMOR says it will have a “cool down room” and sensory supports in place.
