Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Multiple road closures and no parking zones will be in effect for Dominion Energy Riverrock this weekend.
The popular outdoor sports and music festival is set to take place rain or shine from Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18. This year, the festival is in its 17th year and is expected to be attended by roughly 100,000 people.
Areas around Tredegar Street, Brown’s Island, 5th Street, 7th Street, and Bank Street will have road closures and restricted parking throughout the weekend to accommodate festival goers.
The free event features events like dog jumping, stand-up paddle boarding, trail runs, and more. Attendees can also watch slackliners perform stunts on lines suspended over the canal and see climbers from across the country take on a 20-foot tall bouldering cave.
