Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - After a three-year hiatus, Easter on Parade will return to Monument Avenue this Sunday.

The parade has been an annual occurrence since 1973, but was paused for the first time in 2020 due to the pandemic. Pandemic restrictions halted 2021 and lack of funding prevented 2022, but this year the parade will return -- marking 50 years since the first event.

The event will take place on Monument Avenue, between North Davis and North Allen streets, from 1-5 Easter Sunday. Attendees can expect live music and vendors, as well as balloon animals, face painting, clowns, and other family-friendly attractions.
