Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Virginia is already seeing widespread flu activity, according to Richmond-Henrico Health District Director Dr. Elaine Perry. Perry says the best advice against the flu is for people to get their flu shots.
Perry says the amount of activity is not surprising. Perry points out people are not taking the precautions they used to against Covid, like distancing and masks. Both of those things helped temper flu activity as well the last few years. Australia had a rougher flu season as well this year.
You can get a flu shot and a Covid vaccine at the same time.
