Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Naseem Roulack, an inmate who escaped from police custody in August 2023 is set to appear in court on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Roulack is facing charges of allegedly breaking and entering into an occupied house, credit card theft, and petit larceny, among other charges.
Roulack was serving a 13-year sentence for aggravated malicious wounding, grand larceny and hit-and-run when he escaped Bon Secours Saint Mary’s Hospital around 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023. He was captured by authorities two months later.
On Jan. 23, Roulack appeared in Henrico General District Court on an amended charge of escaping a correctional facility. He was formerly charged with felony escape without violence.
Roulack also faces the following charges for alleged offenses committed in Gaithersburg, Maryland:
• Kidnapping
• Armed carjacking
• Assault in the first degree
• Armed robbery
• Firearm use, (in the commission of a felony, violent crime)
• Motor vehicle theft
• Unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle
• Rogue and vagabond
• Handgun on person (illegally)
