Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -

ORIGINAL: Chesterfield firefighters say four people, three of them children, were killed in a fire overnight on Glass Road. The subdivision is located near the intersection of Hull Street Road and Courthouse Road.

Three others in the home are in critical condition. Firefighters were not releasing ages or names because they were still working through the notification process. A cause has not yet been determined.

The fire is one of the most deadly in Chesterfield. In 2016, five people were killed in a home fire on Wicklow Road, which is only a five minute drive from the overnight scene.
