Chesterfield County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Seven businesses on Genito Road in Chesterfield County were evacuated on Thursday afternoon due to a gas leak in the area.
According to Chesterfield County Fire and EMS, the leak began after nearby workers hit a gas line on Thursday, July 25. The gas leak took place near the intersection of Genito Road and Stigall Way.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area until repairs can be completed.
