Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond residents are seeing some small relief at the pump right now. Gas prices dropped four cents overnight, and are 16 cents off of the record they set a week or so ago. But it might not last for long.
AAA points out crude oil prices, which were once below $100 a barrel, are now above that mark. Spokesman Morgan Dean also says we are nearing the time where we switch to summer blends of fuel, which add to the price as well. Demand is also expected to rise with spring break and eventually, summer travel.
Dean expects a price roller coaster for some time.
