
Henrico County (NewsradioWRVA.com) – On Tuesday Henrico Police responded to Godwin High School to assist administrators after it was reported a student had threatened the safety of everyone within the school. Godwin was subsequently put into a lock and teach situation as Henrico officers and school personnel canvassed the premises and located the suspected student.
Henrico Police and HCPS maintain zero-tolerance for these actions, and this behavior comes with consequences. After investigating and thoroughly clearing the school of any possible danger, Henrico Police have been referred to the juvenile justice system as a result of the threats. The juvenile’s identity is not being released due to their age. Police have sought a petition for:
