Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Governor Ralph Northam and First Lady Pam Northam this afternoon received the Johnson & Johnson Covid Vaccine. The vaccine is a one shot dose, so the couple will not have to be vaccinated again.
Speaking at the vaccination event, Northam says things are moving in the right direction, with vaccination rates increasing and cases and positivity rates decreasing. But Northam says we are still looking at having to mitigation measures, such as masks and social distancing, for a time.
Both Northams did actually contract Covid in the fall. Governor Northam had mild symptoms and a loss of smell and taste.
