Glen Allen, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Police are trying to figure out how a gun got into Longdale Elementary off Mountain Road Tuesday afternoon. No students were hurt and there were no threats. The gun was was found in a bathroom.
Henrico Police say they have asked parents to talk with their kids, and make sure they know to report something if they see something. Lieutenant Matt Pecka says that did occur in this case.
Earlier this year, a teacher was wounded by a six-year old student who brought a gun into a Newport News Elementary School.
