Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Henrico County Police Division is set to host a free child safety seat check event this Saturday. At the event, families and caregivers will be able to make sure their child’s car or booster seat is properly installed.
The Child Safety Seat Check-up event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Ourisman Toyota of Richmond, located at 9319 W. Broad St. in Henrico.
Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site, checking to ensure that car and booster seats are properly installed.
Police ask those planning to attend the event to bring the following:
• Seats with accompanying manuals;
• The child or children who will be using the seats, if possible;
• Any caregivers who transport the children in the seats so they can be educated on proper use.
