Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowvra.com) - NBC12 Meteorologist Andrew Freiden says Hurricane Elsa, currently in the Atlantic, could bring us additional moisture at the end of next week. Freiden says that could be in the form of humidity, or maybe storms.
The storm became a hurricane Friday morning. Freiden says it is not likely to become a strong hurricane, because it is expected to have impacts with land along the way. The storm appears headed to either Florida or the Gulf of Mexico coasts.
In regards to the Fourth of July forecast, Freiden says it will be dry and comfortable, after Thursday and Friday's storms took away the heat and humidity.
