Richmond, Va. (NewsradioWRVA.com) - The family of the 17 year old Glen Allen High School student who died over the weekend on the James River has established a scholarship fund in her honor.
It's called the Julia Budzinski Memorial Scholarship Fund and will honor her life and legacy supporting the students and community of Glen Allen High School and beyond.
Details of how to contribute to the fund is at the website, www.henricogives.com/julia/ That site says that Julia is remembered by her friends and family for her positivity, humility, fierce competitiveness, hard work and the deep impact she had on those around her.
A visitation is scheduled for this Sunday at St. Michael Catholic Church with funeral the next day.
