
Chesterfield County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Chesterfield Police have now identified and charged a suspect for the April 23 hit-and-run that injured a three-year-old child.
At the time of the incident, two potential vehicles were identified and released to the public. Now, Chesterfield Police have located the suspect vehicle, a 2012 Nissan Altima, allegedly driven by a 17-year-old male at the time of the incident. The 17-year-old has now been issued summonses for reckless driving, driving without a license and driving without insurance.
The injured toddler was taken to a hospital after the incident with serious injuries. He has since been released but continues to recover at home.
