
Washington (NewsradioWRVA.com) - The blame game continues in Washington as the debt ceiling debate winds to a deadline. Virginia Democratic Senator Tim Kaine points the blame at Republicans, saying that's the party that racked up the debt in the past administration. During a press availability with reporters, Kaine says it's in the Constitution that no one can question the validity of the public debt of the United States. Kaine says Democrats are willing to defend the Constitution and he wants Republicans to cooperate.
