Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Senator Tim Kaine is calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's speech to Congress this morning "vivid" and "heroic." But the Democrat says he does not support a no-fly zone, which Zelenskyy used the speech to request.
Kaine says President Joe Biden and many believe a no-fly zone could lead to an all-European war. Kaine says ultimately, they want Ukraine to defeat Russia, not Europe to do so. Kaine says support, like anti-aircraft weapons, will continue.
Kaine spoke to Virginia reporters following Zelenskyy's speech.
