Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Lego is building in Chesterfield. The toy company announcing a $1 billion investment, with a factory going up in Meadowville Technology Park. When completed in 2025, it will employ nearly 1,800.
The company is receiving grants and site improvements from Virginia. It would be Lego's first factory in the United States. There will also be an on-site solar park to power the factory.
Ground breaking is expected later this year.
