Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - UPDATE: Richmond Police say they have arrested Javaris Turner, 18, for this shooting. Turner was arrested in Henrico after Richmond Police broadcast a suspect vehicle description. Turner has been charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm.
ORIGINAL: Richmond Police say a man was killed, and a woman wounded, in a shooting along Broad Street Thursday afternoon. The shooting happened not far from a VCU Police location at Third Street and Broad.
Police have not released many details. However, they say they are reviewing video from the area and talking to witnesses. The stretch of Broad is usually busy in the afternoon.
VCU Police are assisting.
