Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - To accommodate the hundreds of runners set to participate in the Richmond Marathon, city officials will be closing off streets and establishing numerous no parking zones.

Richmond police say information on street closures is subject to change, but they will post updates on X, formerly known as Twitter, @RichmondPolice, and on their website.
"Major roads will include Broad Street Monument Avenue, Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Forest Hill, Riverside Drive, the Huguenot Bridge, the Lee Bridge," says James Mercante, Richmond Police. "The best way to get around town is probably going to be 95, 64, and the Downtown Expressway."
