Midlothian Couple Arrested After Child Found in Freezer

Midlothian, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Chesterfield Police have arrested a Midlothian couple after a young child's remains were found in a freezer at their home. Kassceen and Dina Weaver face charges related to concealment of a body, as well as charges for failing to render aid. Kassceen Weaver also faces assault charges related to an alleged assault on Dina Weaver.

Police say the remains were discovered May 4th at the home near Swift Creek Reservoir. The Weavers were arrested on that date, and are now currently free on bond. The Medical Examiner determine the remains were of Eliel Weaver, a child under the age of five. Police believe he may have been in the freezer upwards of two years.

The Medical Examiner has not determined exactly when or how Eliel Weaver died.
