
Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Saying numbers are trending in the right diretction, and more people are getting vaccinated, Governor Ralph Northam (D) has announced the lifting of some Covid restrictions. The changes will go into effect March 1st.
Northam says alcohol will now be allowed to be served up until midnight. The previous limit was 10pm. The midnight to five a.m. curfew is also being lifted, and outdoor gatherings at home will be allowed to reach 25 people. Outdoor entertainment venues will also be allowed 1,000 people or 30% of capacity, which ever is lower.
The Governor tightened restrictions back around the holidays as Covid cases rose.
