Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - One person was arrested Friday night for disruptive protest during a Friday night comedy show at the Altria Theater in Richmond.
The Richmond Police Department responded to a request for additional officers at the Altria Theater at around 8:22 p.m. on Friday, April 19.
Police said officers arrested one person at the theater. A video circulating on social media shows the person protesting against Israel’s war on Gaza and Genocide against the Palestinian people.
Several other attendees were removed from the venue for disrupting the show, which was a performance by comedian Chelsea Handler.
