Rep. Jennifer Wexton Announces Parkinson's Diagnosis

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Virginia representative Jennifer Wexton has revealed that she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. In a social media video posted in honor of World Parkinson's Day, Wexton said received the diagnosis recently.

Wexton says she is "doing well" and has "a positive attitude," but that the condition has already effected the way she speaks and her balance. She will be undergoing treatment moving forward, but says she intends to continue representing the 10th district.
