Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police are searching for a suspect who they say strangled a woman in Shockoe Bottom March 26th.
After a woman was physically assaulted and strangled on N. 19th Street, Richmond Police put out a request to the community for information. Thanks to community tips and surveillance footage of the incident. Now, they have obtained a warrant and have identified their suspect as Ladell Holmes.
Police are asking community members to keep an eye out, especially in and around Shockoe, but not to engage Holmes if they see him. Rather, they are asking anyone with information contact Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000 or Major Crimes at (804) 646-6741.
