Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Following a months-long investigation, police have served a warrant to Sherral Crawley, the owner of No Limit Towing LLC, after finding that Crawley stole numerous vehicles.
Crawley faces 16 felony indictments for grand larceny tied to motor vehicle theft. Police say Crawley engaged in illegal towing practices and even stole several vehicles.
In February, investigators revealed that they suspected the then-unnamed towing company of engaging in malicious towing practices. At the time, detectives said the practices included towing from unauthorized areas, charging over $135 for the initial tow, charging over $40 for a drop fee, or charging storage fees for illegal tows. Police now say No Limit Towing not only engaged in those practices, but actually stole several vehicles.
No Limit Towing & Recovery is located on Hull Street in Richmond. Police served the warrant at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 11.
