Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Poe Museum in Richmond is set to host a black cat adoption event this upcoming Friday the 13th.
From 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday the 13th, anyone looking to adopt a black cat can visit the Poe Museum’s Enchanted Garden.
“On Friday, September 13th, the Enchanted Garden will be full of feline friends — and we’re not just talking about Edgar and Pluto,” event organizers said. “As if that’s not sweet enough, Westray’s Finest Ice Cream will be for sale in our parking lot.”
The free event is being offered in partnership with the Richmond Animal League and the SPCA.
The Poe Museum is located at 1914 E. Main St. in Richmond.
