Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Two Chesterfield Schools resume classes on Monday. Bellwood and Falling Creek Elementary Schools are the only two Chesterfield schools that operate on what they call a "year-around" schedule, with classes starting in July.
The two schools have breaks spaced throughout the year (September, December/January, and March/April). The rest of the Chesterfield schools go to class from August to May. However, this might be the last year these two schools operate on a different schedule, as Chesterfield has held some discussions about doing away with it.
Hopewell also uses a year-around schedule, but for all of its schools. Hopewell starts classes July 24th.
