Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond, Henrico, and a number of agencies are continuing their search along the James River for two missing women who were part of a group of 12 floating along the river on Memorial Day. Ten in the group had to be rescues near Bosher's Dam, which is near the Wiley Bridge.
Henrico Police have identified the two women as Lauren E. Winstead, 23, of Henrico County, and Sarah E. Erway, 28, of Chesterfield County. Police also say river levels are very high right now and people should use extreme caution.
Recent rains upstream as well as locally have contributed to the higher river levels.
