Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - For the second time this week, Henrico Police have arrested and charged a high school student in the county with having a gun at school. This most recent incident occurred at Mills Godwin High School in the county's far west end.
Police say school officials were told of the the gun Thursday morning, by a student who had seen it the day before. Police and school officials then found the gun among the students belongings. The student has been charged with possession charges, as well as a marijuana possession charge.
Earlier in the week, a student at Henrico High School was charged with having a gun at that high school. Police say there were no threats to students, and they want parents and guardians to have a talk with their kids about gun safety, and about appropriate actions.
