Washington (NewsradioWRVA.com) Senator Tim Kaine says he's hopeful that, by the end of the week, Senate Democrats will come up with an agreement on a reconciliation bill, as part of the infrastructure bill, that will be acceptable to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and will eventually find its way to President Biden for signature.

Kaine says that the reconciliation bill focused on items in the infrastructure bill that were essential, including the workforce that would be needed to perform the infrastructure improvements.

Kaine says he's been encouraged by the last couple days of Senate Democrat meetings. He says if it isn't by the end of this week, it will definitely be done by early next week.
