Chester, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Chesterfield Police say six people were shot, and one killed, in an incident along Weybridge Road in Chester Friday night. Police have not identified the victim nor have released the name of any suspects.
Police say they were called to the scene for a report of shots being fired. There they found one man shot who later died at the scene. They later discovered five other people had been taken to the hospital, all for non-life-threatening injuries.
Weybridge road is just south and west of Route 288, right near the Route 1 exit.
