Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- It appears the chance for a second snowstorm in the Richmond area this week are lessening. NBC12 Forecaster Nick Russo says it appears it will be warmer on Thursday evening than originally expected, and as a result, the Richmond area will be on the rain/snow line.

Russo says it now appears the Richmond area will get between a coating and an inch of snow. Points south and east will get rain. From western Henrico to points north and west will still see an inch to three inches of snow.

Areas north and west of the city are still dealing with power outages from Monday's storm. Russo says Thursday night's storm will not be as problematic. The storm is expected to arrive Thursday night and leave before daylight Friday.
