Washington, D.C. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Dan and Tayna Snyder, along with the Washington Commanders, have issued a statement saying they are working with Bank of American Securities to look at "potential transactions." Snyder has owned the football team since 1999 and it is not clear if this would be a partial or total sale, if any at all.
Snyder has had a reputation as one of the most dis-liked owners in professional sports. The team has been surrounded by controversy for years, in part over their previous nickname. Snyder is also under investigation for alleged sexual misconduct.
The Commanders are currently looking for a new stadium, including possibly in Virginia.
