Some Railroad Crossings in Chesterfield to Close During Week

Repairs Expected to Last Three Days

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (NewsradioWRVA.com) – CSX has scheduled a series of railroad crossing repair projects on multiple routes in Chesterfield County starting the week of Monday, Feb. 20. The closures are expected to remain in place for approximately three days, once the closures are in place.

Drivers should follow the locally posted detour routes during the closures. The following routes that will be closing (and their anticipated closing start dates) are listed below:

·      Coxendale Road (Route 615) near the bridge over I-95 will close on or around Thursday, Feb. 23.

·      Old Stage Road (Route 732) near W. Hundred Road (Route 10) will close on or around Thursday, Feb. 23.

·      Three separate crossing closures on Ramblewood Drive (Route 617) near Ware Bottom Spring Road (Route 898, closing on or around Feb. 23), Vance Drive (closing on or around Feb. 23) and Rebel Ridge Road (closing on or around Feb. 22).

·      Old Bermuda Hundred Road (Route 618) near Ramblewood Drive (Route 617, closing on or around Feb. 23)

·      Enon Church Road (Route 746) near Point of Rocks Road will close on or around Tuesday, Feb. 21.

·      N. Enon Church Road (Route 746) near E. Hundred Road (Route 10) will close on or around Wednesday, Feb. 22.

·      River Haven Avenue (Route 7548) near Hackberry Road (Route 833) will close on or around Wednesday, Feb. 22.
