Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - We will see seasonable high temperatures today with sunny skies and a light breeze on Monday, according to the StormTracker8 team. Overnight lows will drop to near freezing.
A big storm will move in on Tuesday, bringing rain to the area. The storm may begin as a mix across far western and northwestern Virginia. Meteorologists say there will be breaks in the rain, with overcast skies all day. It will also be mild, with high temperatures near 60 later in the evening.
There will be periods of heavy rain and stronger winds in the afternoon and evening. Most areas will end up seeing about 1 to 3 inches of rain by Wednesday morning.
The StormTracker8 team says it will be dry Wednesday through midday Friday. The next threat of rain will come later Friday into early Saturday.
